    HOW TO?
empty all screens of icons, and move, edit, or custom group and position, of same?

**EDIT: appears to just require a good std.usb mouse.
... or someone smart enough to "game-pad" key program the rii i4 keyboard i use, I guess? .. it lacks the conventional mouse set up.

Sure seems boot time has increased. The intial boot was the fastest ever seen, about 8 seconds. Now I get the static 'aml 922x' displayed for 15 seconds or more, then the animated Ugoos boot screen. Quite a bit longer than before the updates.

So? Is this your normal too?
... and what kind of active Ram numbers are you seeing?

Surely all these will be included in the next larger (full) update.
I do believe that this 85mg auto ota does change the cec service.
      enjoy!
Just checked there now but no notice yet.

I also bought a Beelink GT King Pro just for comparison.
Online reviews showed that the GT King Pro CPU clock speed is the same as the Ugoos AM6, 2208 GHz.
When I tested mine with various apps I got 1704 GHz ?
I contacted Beelik about this & this is the reply I got.

      "Hi,
Thank you for your letter. In order to improve the stability of the system, we have done a down-clocking process on this CPU.
      Best regards"

I have told Beelink that I'm very unhappy about this as I feel I bought the GT King Pro under false pretences.

How to install Magisk on the AM6

        1) Under Ugoos Settings - Choose Root with SuperSU
        2) Now restart your device
        3) Install Magisk Manager

        4) Restart your device
        5) Open Magisk Manager and grant it root permission with SuperSU
        6) In Magisk Manager's Settings choose Magisk Core Mode Only and enable it
        7) Restart your device
        8) Open Magisk Manager and under Advanced Settings(You need to use an airmouse or USB mouse)
choose only the 'Recovery Mode' checkbox and uncheck 'Preserve AVB 2.0/dm-verity'
        9) Now click on Install at the top right next to Magisk and select 'Direct Install'
        10) Wait for it to finish and then manually restart your device by long pressing the power button on the ir remote and choosing Restart'
        11) Magisk will now be installed
        12) In Magisk Manager's settings, disable the Magisk Core Mode Only so it uses the full Magisk Mode now
        13) Also disable SuperSU root now from Ugoos's Root Settings
        14) Reboot
Magisk should now work fully and you can hide root from apps or make your device Google Certified by using theMagiskHide Props Config module.

          Thanx for that.
          Now only TWRP is missing.
Got instructions to install that also?

What's the advantage of ATV above stock?
              Im not familiar with this.
I saw the Rom, but think I rather love stock..

              Do you use this?

                Yes.
It's better to use ATV if you use a big display, eg. 4K tv.
Most apps will also have a layout suited more for tv.
But you can still use other app stores like APKPure to install phone apps and run them normally.

                  Hi Everyone.

I downloaded the latest firmware version 0.2.5 OTA to a USB key.
When I open the update app on my AM6 the app will check online for an update without any problem but when I try to point the app to the downloaded firmware file the App keeps crashing ?
I have forced closed the app, cleared data & cache but it keeps crashing every time when I try to point it to the downloaded file.
I previously loaded firmware version 0.2.3 without any problem using this method ?

                  Any ideas anyone.
                  Thanks.

                    Try sd card.
Enter recovery, through appropriate app, or recovery button (stock recovery), select sd and go from there.

I noticed two things I meant to ask all about.
                          1) My box booted the 1st time from the animated ugoos splash.
Literally was like a 7 second boot
                          - It did not show the static (30+ seconds?) long-term amlogic logo, for what
seemed like several more boots, maybe until an OTA or two. Sound familiar?

                          2) There is something loose inside the box, a washer, a screw, or a solder bb? ...or?
It moves around if you handle the box, but I just waited until it lodge itself stationary ...before may using the am6
Any comments? ...jokes aside for a moment

Jokes aside, I would always be concerned with FOD inside a box that houses an electronic city.

Yep loose bits in your box is not good; or as some say FOD..

                            Worked a treat.
Version 0.2.5 up & running now.

However the update app still crashes when I try to select a firmware file to load.
I'm in contact with Ugoos so we'll see what they say.
I know it doesn't matter anyway if I can load firmware through recovery.

As regards something rattling about in the box, be very careful as you could easily fry the box if you get a short.
Open the box if you can or else send it back to be replaced.
