    How to install CoreELEC to the Beelink GT king

    Installation procedure is just like any Android TV box. Burn The image to a SD/USB using rufus,After its burned look on the SD/USB & place the beelink DTB from the device_trees folder into root and rename it to dtb.img. Put the SD/USB in the box, press and hold the reset button (it?s on the bottom, You will need something really small, like a SIM ejector), turn the box on, and hold for 10 to 15 seconds until you see the CoreELEC logo

    You will need a class1 SD/USB of 8GB or more

        This should be the download link. Install the beta. From then on it should be automatic.

          I think it is still a bit unstable. I installed the xanaxbuild and it sometimes just goes off when I select a stream to play and I have to restart from boot.

              thanks for this great infos.

              can i install the CoreElec as you eplained on a fresh formatted sd card and then use this card for booting CoreElec but also for making backup with my TWRP?

              That means, the dtb.img will stay on root on the card, but also will be there the directory TWRP which will have my backup file. This works?

                I used Win32DiskImager its also a good alternative to Rufus !
