Dark theme gt king

Hi, in the gt king screen settings I selected the dark theme but this is not activated, the theme remains clear, why?

Hi all, having contacted Bee-link about the dark theme option not working on the GT-King, I was told,

"Our product does not have a dark theme yet, and subsequent upgrades may add this feature"

Hopefully they will implement it in an update soon, as I've a 37" TV, but when I go to the settings page, it's like putting a flood light on in my living room.

Not till Android 10 was Dark Theme made official for UI in android. Dark theme can be turn-on in Android 9, because the code is there in AOSP source, but of course it is probably missing from the Amlogic SDK and the Beelink developers will have to manually port the required files to make it active in a ROM. It can be done, but of course it doesn't work in every app or for every situation like it does in Android 10.
