Guys, since nobody asked it before, I have a question.

Does this ROM support chromecast? I'd like to buy a new tv box, but one of my requirement is to have a chromecast feature. (Yes, Miracast and aircast will not do)

Hi guys and girls, at your numerous requests, I present the universal Android TV firmware for Beelink GT-King.
Many thanks to Beelink for the sample box.

Best thing to do before flashing your box is to check which Serial Number you currently have on the bottom of your box.

I've made 4 different ROM's for these boxes two for boxes starting with SN: 922X & SN:95X2 and another two for SN:B922
(English and Russian localization for each)
Please download the correct ROM for your box

      Changelog v1.0:
      • built-in modified TWRP recovery 3.2.3-1.
      • changed init.d mechanism
      • removed the ancient Chinese busybox
      • updated busybox and all its links in vendor
      • a newest SU binary is installed
      • installed patched SuperSu 2.82 that does not require updating
      • USB debugging is enabled by default, full AdbShell support, Selinux is disabled
      • Noise reduction disabled
      • Installed a program to manage the service Auto Frame Rate (afrd)
      • changed Framework. Cut out the System Tray, but left the Navigation Bar
      • 13 WiFi channels

      Changelog v2.0:
      • Used latest version of Stock's ROM 906P0
      • Fix IPTV Problem
      • New TWRP
      • Optimization system
      • Minor bug fixes

      Added the following applications:
      • Opengapps Atv (at the very minimum)
      • App Drawer
      • Explorer X-plore, for remote
      • Alternative Market AptoideTV
      • GoogleChrome v.57. Do not update it, if you want to use copy-paste

Excellent ROM, thank you so much
Beelink GT King original firmware lacks cifs support and nfs support
It is present in your ROM???
If this ROM does not support CIFs... would you mind to add cifs support in the next firmware update?? It would be nice...

I want to mount folders from my local NAS using the following script
      su --mount-master -c busybox mount –o username=XXXX,password=XXXX,rw,noperm,file_mode=07 77,dir_mode=0777,iocharset=utf8-t cifs //192.168.0.106/openshare /data/media/cifs/openshare

      thanks in advance
      David

Updated firmware DOWNLOAD HERE THE GTKing_ATV_by_Sasvlad_v1_0_922X_Russian when turned on, it all hung. The Beelink GT king does not turn off. I can not reset to factory settings. What to do? How to restore the prefix? This is how the Android screensaver stands. Does not turn off.

          Hello Sasvlad.
My box GT King SN:B922H, (android 9) with the latest android version 9PPR1.
I would like to switch to Android Tv.

As I am new to the subject I would like to know which files to download, if you have any demo video and if there will be automatic firmware updates or with notifications.

          Thanks.

Sasvlad Thanks so much for your work!
I followed the instructions and was able to install.
I have a question, the box will continue to send firmware update notifications?
At the moment my system version is 906PO android 9, i don’t know if it is the last one ?!
            Thank you!!!

No, you won't get firmware update notifications or they won't work since the firmware was modified.
You will have to flash new firmware every time there is a new ATV released based on the latest stock ROM.
Beelink will most likely also not release new updates in future anymore like all their previous products.

                  No you don't.
                  The latest firmware is 909P0
As you can see in the changelogs, almost nothing has changed since 906P0 firmware.

The firmwares are posted on Beelink's forum.
Yes, you will loose all your apps and settings every time you flash new firmware.

                          Try B922
                          C922X, SA9X, SB9X = B922

Please let us know if this works on your box. I have the same one and am currently running the Alvatech ROM. Superceleron says his ROM will probably also work, the B922 version. I am apprehensive to try it as my box is A1 at the moment.

@charlie_boy.....HA HA, you beat me on that one.I was just about to try it today.I was a bit hesitant to install it cuz i read from somewhere in this forum that if you flash the wrong version, it could destroy the boot loader and the bootup from Sdcard with the reset button will not work anymore. Thanks for trying and i appreciate it.Now i can flash it with confidence. By the way, i would like to add that the ethernet problems experienced by GT king owners seems to have gone with this new revision of the board.I have no issues using ehternet although the wifi always turn on is still there. Dont matter to me since i use LAN at the time and the ehternet speed is blazing fast. I got 951mbps speedtest on my 1Gbs internet connection using speedtest connected directly to Lan on my ASUS RT88U router. Whooo...hoooo.
By the way....may i know what you mean by A1.....just asking...hehehe

@Savslad....Thanks for your help with clarrifying the the serial number issue for the owners of SN9XH.
