i would like to change lighthome launcher but
i cannot find aosp launcher3, or some other simple launcher that will work well with the remote control and supports split screen
Don't think it matters if launcher supports "split-screen," that is an internal /system setting that needs to be activated when the firmware was built.

i dont see how i could use those launchers with my remote control, if their menu is opened by swiping
Can use an App to force Landscape-Mode, like the app Set-Orientation.
When using Lawnchair on a TVbox, in the settings of Lawnchair I turn on the setting that lets you double-tap home screen to open AppDrawer, so I don't have to swipe, even though I always use an Air-Mouse remote.
