Differences between Rev 2.0 and 3.0 Boards?

I have two W95 Boxes that i'm trying to install LibreElec on (from https://sx05.eu/s905/8.2/8.2.0.1/) - It works perfectly on one, and won't boot on the other.

The only difference between the boxes is the board revision silkscreened on the board just under the reset button - One says "W95 ver: 2.0", the other says "W95 ver: 3.0".

The v2.0 box boots from usb without issue - The v3.0 box fails to boot and remains stuck at the '4K ULTRA HD' logo screen.

What's changed between the two board revs that would prevent me from booting? Is there anything i can do to get it to boot on the newer hardware? (I've tried replacing the default dtb.img with the one from p281-ota-20170926.zip - it didn't help)

To learn more.. (chips used etc )

i think...you are the first to see/find/report that there have been changes to the w95 pcb

Here's pictures of the board front and back. The android firmware looks the same on each box. I have a libreelec on a USB drive and have rebooted each box from adb using 'reboot update'. The v2.0 box boots the USB drive immediately, the v3.0 box shows the '4k ultra hd' logo, then goes to a black screen and will sit there for hours.

Here's the steps I've taken:
1) Downloaded https://sx05.eu/s905/8.2/8.2.0.1/Lib...8.2.0.1.img.gz
2) Used https://libreelec.tv/2016/08/usb-sd-creator/ to write the .img.gz file to a 16GB usb drive
3) Downloaded https://sx05.eu/s905/8.2/device_tree...xl_p212_2g.dtb
4) Copied gxl_p212_2g.dtb to dtb.img on the USB drive (replacing the file that was already there)
5) Plugged the usb drive into the usb port closest to the microsd slot on the W95 box.
6) Ran the command 'reboot update' via terminal emulator on the box
-- At this point LibreElec boots successfully on the v2.0 box.
7) Shut off the v2.0 box
8) Plug into the same port on the v3.0 box and ran 'reboot update'
9) Box reboots, shows 4k logo, goes to black screen.
10) remove drive, power cycle, goes back to android
11) plug in drive, power cycle, goes back to black screen.
12) retry usb in v2.0 box - Watch movies all night.

v3.0 is Samsung and (as you said) Foresee is the v2.0

Hello, we tested per your steps, it works well on both V2.0 and V3.0.

Can you send more HD pictures to me? we need HD pictures of PCBA both sides.
