By today's standards, with those slim specs, it should not retail for more than $70 US.

GearBest currently has a sale (Coupon Code GBZ83IIN) on the Z83 II, which has similar specs, for $86.99.

Honestly, 32GB really isn't enough main storage for a Windows 10 box, but it's fine for Ubuntu.

The Atom platform ist basicly to weak for Windows 10 and out oft time. Apollo lake N4200 is the Plattform up to date. Even these devices have a hard time to handle win 10

I was able to compare the raw WinSAT performance results of the AP42 (Apollo lake N4200) with the Z83 II, and the performance improvements are significant:

Given that read performance for eMMC is roughly three times as fast, it's no wonder to me now why it feels so much more responsive.

Thanks for sharing an thats why I like my N4200 convertible, while my z8300 is running with Android.

But will the read performance of the eMMC be solely down to the quality of the eMMC inside a specific box?

X5 Mini PC will be ready this Friday.

Compared with other Z8350 Mini PC, here are some USP of this device:
                      1. Windows + Android OS preinstalled,
                      2. USB port inside,
                      3. GPIO port inside.

Yes, we're trying to hidden devices for some customers who do not wanna to display outside, for example GSM 4G dongle.

Yes, we are going to release Ubuntu images and drivers soon. will update here then, take care.
