... but no more success ... same as previous ...

Fred had you checked erase bootloader? I flashed 2 days ago a Beelink GT1 Ultimate 3/32 AX12 version without any problem. I tried without erase bootloader check and I had errors then I tried with erase bootloader checked and image flashed OK.

No I have not tested with "erase bootloader" checked ... because the recommendation and also I don't know exactly the risk (or not) to erase it
for ex. is it possible to return back to the original Beelink version ?? if bootloader is erased or what ever ???

But I will do some search on the subject ... and test it ...

Lot of thanks for this advice (seems I am not so courageous (or without the require skills) to bypass a recommendation in the announcement post ... )

        Fred.

I am not anxious or afraid just wise and prudent ... ... I have some expertise in Linux, including Uboot generation (also for Arm system) ... but less on Android box ... so I just want to understand (if possible) why the creator (thanks to him) have write this recommendation in install procedure ... just to be a little more intelligent (if it's possible for my limited mind ... )

            Fred.
NB I have managed to do it this evening ...

                Hi,

Following recommendation ... my actual test

1 I have tested first using the "standard Android" version
... USB burning tool work WITH "erase bootloader" as leotzian suggest (thanks to him) ...
... all seem to works as expected
2 I have try to install ATV V1 version (from here)
... NOT works with "erase bootloader" set
... OK without (unchecked) "erase bootloader" ... so at this first time ... this can change depending of the rom inside before installing ... official "not checked, Android TV 6 ... need to check it
                3 update to ATV V2
                ... no problem
                4 first test
... AptoideTV installer works as well
... Google Play is "pending" (I used LAN)
... Android TV installer generate screen flickering and can't be used ... I suppress it
5 install (Aptoide) Kodi and Plex works as expected

                ... wait for next step
                Fred.

                    @Fred
I had the same problem with play store. I also had problems with Titanium Backup and some other apps with missing buttons on the top bar of the app the right side, so titanium appsettings xposed module etc.
So I flashed superceleron NORMAL ANDROID VERSION WITHOUT BOOTLOADER CHECKED and all are working fine.
                    Then Installed NOVA LAUNCHER.
For my opinion one of the best launchers

For English people ... it's just the same explain that we can get in different posts but in French (I hope).

                          Fred.
NB il existe des pages Web expliquant l'usage de TWRP et en Français (Web site in French exist with how-to for TWRP)

V2 is an OTA ... so an update on existing version (V1 in this case)
... so after installing V1 you may used update solution
... on standard (original) firmware an OTA can be apply using Sd_Card and start GT1 with reset hold ... I NEVER test this solution on this ATV version ... so no idea if it work (only on Beelink delivery from 703N to 705N)
... here (in V1) you can use the reboot recovery mode (in power menu) that start TWRP ... where it's possible to install OTA ... by searching the .ZIP file installed before on external SD or in internal storage (I think)

TWRP have lot of other very useful tools to help you to maintain at the best level your TVBox

NB I am not a specialist ... so all must be confirmed by expert (but I update my own box with this TWRP method) .
