Sorry but i said "At least" ...
You need the firmware but it could be not enought. I'm not sure i can help you more.

didn't find something else in the topic ?

        driver is loaded ?
is it still in "cold" state (firmware loaded ou not) ?
firmware is in the right place, with the right name ?
        check "lsusb"

if you want to ubuntu of rk3288. you must recompile all dvb modules

                start your chamelon. open terminal
                git clone git://linuxtv.org/media_build.git
                later cd media_build
                make download untar
make (or if you want to select only your device. make menuconfig later select your stick and save)
                make
                sudo make install
later reboot. you must be work but I have to say. if lubuntu don has kernel config files. dont compile driver.
you must be find compiler of lubunut of rk3288. later donwload compiler your pc. compile driver your device kernel with ubunutu with pc addition
I dont have rk3288 device. its very easy compile some people.
Not: lubuntu of rk3288 no has hw accelaration for video. if it works. you can only use streamin home device. you can not watch tv channel. may be only play mpeg2 channels with frame skipping
                IF I were you.
firt you must be find you tuner ko driver. You said that you use your ubuntu with pc. only
open terminal write lsmod. later identify your stick tuner ko on ubuntu pc. for examble dvb_usb_v2.ko etc.
otherhand that you know your firmware fw files for avermedia a835b
setuped android (if I were you. I setuped android tvheadend)
firmware fw files copy system/etc/firmware folder
I compiled all dvb driver for android of rk3288. you extract and find tuner ko.
                copy system/lib/modules (pls read it http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...rk3288-Android )
add init.d add root your chamelon
copy tvheadend for rk3288 files . later reboot and search channel
                tvheadend setup like android http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...enELEC-5-0-RC3

you try this topic for more information.

Thanks a lot for your answer.

I have installed tvheadend on android , it work.
I have put the good driver on system/etc/firmware
On terminal with "dmesg" : i have :

                  usb 3-1.2: new usb found, idvendor=07ca, idproduct=3835
usb 3-1.2: new usb device strings: Mfr=1, product=2, serial number=3
                  usb 3-1.2: product: a835b
usb 3-1.2: manufacturer: avermedia technologies, inc
                  usb 3-1.2: serialnumber: 305806900490

                    pls try lsmod and
                    dmesg | grep -i dvb
send us. we can look. may be needed some library that you dont load

if you found truely fw file must be indentify your stick.

you can found first your stick needed modules with ubuntu pc. (which modules uses your stick.) later serch my compiled modules files and load insmod command android terminal. all work can we make new init.d script your tuner

that is important; first load modules later start tvheadend. İf you first start tvheadend later load module. dont find your tuner. sory my english not good

you load any modules android for your tuner. beacuse that said lsmod log.
first connect your avermedia to ubuntu based pc (that you said work with it).open teminal
write lsmod. you must be look loaded modules. later we know Which modules needed. I searched issue in net. I found my be need patch v4l driver other issue

later connect your stick (avermedia) chamelon tvbox.

your fw files http://xgazza.altervista.org/Linux/D...b-af9035-02.fw copy to system/etc/firmware
                        download all dvb modules for rk3288 v4l media_build. (http://www3.zippyshare.com/v/70120035/file.html)
unzip. later open folder find your tuner modules. copt to system/lib/modules
                        I think your tuner modules
                        insmod system/lib/modules/dvb_usb_v2.ko
                        insmod system/lib/modules/dvb-pll.ko
                        insmod system/lib/modules/dvb_core.ko

                        insmod system/lib/modules/rc_core.ko

try lsmod command sen log us
try dmesg | grep -i dvb
