Best config for Android box Tvheadend backend server and DVB S2

Hello everyone,

I have just saw the thread about using Tvheadend as backend on Android Box.

Im using at this time a Minix X7 with Kitkat 442 CE 2.2.0 rom, and really happy with this.

But im looking for a dvb s2 sat solution and cause the all in one product like vigica are still with aml8726mx (box with s805 and dvbs2 still not on market); What could be the best dvbs2 solution (usb model, sat>ip model)

In fact whas is yours with pro and cons.

Btw is there any benefits to change android box and in that case what could be the best choice between rk3288 or s802 or a80 model for the ebst quality image result ?

all chinese cpu dont play perfectly mpeg2 transponder stream. need to wait new board and new cpu.

I doubt any of this boxes can support dvbs2 tuner... Till now only wetek get success to make DVB compatible with dvbs2 without mod on tvh/vdr.

What you can do is use a wetek as server and any other Chinese crap (minix, banana pi, dickys pi, ...) like clients on kodi/tvh

Old but working like clock with crazy support and for his need to connect a remote TVH client is irrelevant...

Iv been playing around with a wetek for the past week & im more than impressed with it for a dual core device its all about having the right rom..You wont beat the support from the wetek guys.
