I have recently purchased a tronsmart S89h, mostly to run Kodi on.
In the evenings I leave the S89h running with the homescreen of Kodi, and I turn off the TV.
In the morning when I turn the TV back on, Kodi has always closed somehow.
So then I'm just looking at the android home screen, and I need to reboot Kodi.
Hmm..
I just checked.. i left kodi running last night.. its still running at the same addon (s89h.. about 18h ago)
I think.. it might have to-do with what appz are running in the background/multitask.. or if wifi goes offline to save power
-i have disabled: wifi powersaving.. i enabled 'keep screen on while charging'
Today again.
Last night I had one app running, which was Kodi.
I left Kodi on the home screen and turned off the TV.
This morning I turned on the TV and it was showing the android home screen.
Checked to see which apps were running and obviously Kodi wasn't running anymore.
Why is it spontaneously quitting?
Wifi is off always.
I have managed to find a solution/workaround by installing an app that auto-reboots my device every morning, and another app that automatically starts KODI after a (re-)boot.
