can not make search on kodi 14.0, the letters are blank
i put 7 icons , but if changed to 5 icons, it is ok

I don't understand what you mean with the 5 and 7 icons thing.
Have you changed skin from the default or have you overwritten the userdata folder with a backup after installing kodi?
Kodi changed the way the keyboard works since version 13 to support multi languages and skins have to be updated to be able to use it or you get a blank keyboard like your picture shows.
Try it with the default confluence skin that came with kodi and see if it works. If it still doesn't then uninstall kodi and reinstall it and try it before restoring any backups (if you did)

yes, i changed the 5 icons shortcuts to 7 icons shortcuts.
after i changed to 5 icons, it is normal with letters show, do you know how to have the search functions with 7 icons in kodi?
and yes, i also overwrote the userdata by copy and paste from other devices.
