    Kodi buffer settings

    I am currently using a Vega S95 Telos (2GB/16GB) and I read a few recommendations online to configure the buffer settings.
    I do not download any Andriod apps and use this Telos only for video streaming with Vidon. Occasionally, I would watch videos in external USB drives. The Telos is connected to a solid network conneciton via a RJ45 cat-6 cable.

    What value do you set these buffer settings? Parameters like buffermode, cachemembuffersize, readbufferfactor.

    Any suggestions are appreciated.
    Thanks.

    MiniMx: I only use cachemembuffersize "0". Works in Android and in OE.

      Good improvement if you have slow to internet or streams are slow. Read the wiki to size. If I remember correctly takes twice as much RAM as you set size

          I read that cachemembuffersize should be set to following value:
          1. Get the available memory space after in Kodi.
          2. Divide it by 3
          3. Convert to bytes by multiplying the number by 1024 twice.

          Do you guys agree to this recommendation? I don't really understand what are the impacts of this parameter.
          Again, my box is 2GB/16GB.

            I finally did the setting changes.
            buffermode = 2
            Cachemembuffersize = 419,430,400
            Readbufferfactor = 10

            Will see if this would improve my viewing experience.
