    Today we are going to start to have a look at the U5 PVR Deluxe Android Media Player 2/16GB AC WiFi Gig Lan & DVB
    I first stumbled across this box with some writings at Eddy LAB back in March (translators on) interesting and peaked my interest.
    Still need to get my Head around TVHeadend and the Linux side of the deal, looks interesting

    Based on the Hisilicon v200 and they just have the goods when it comes to video Display.
    Its got Vents lots of vents this is a cool player and it can do so much.

    Does TV excellent, (my opinion) one of the better DVB-T interfaces I have used.
    The Box looks and is meaty, Its has Sata for PVR, USB 3, AC WIFI and Gig lan, USB 2, Spdif, AV,
    Runs TVHeadend Linux and Android,
    A remote that I find easy to use. Beefy 12v 3amp {power pack}
    You have a selection of tuners be it Twin or Single see below

          To install Hdd very simple as seen in the Following Images from U5 support website

          Lid as mentions easily Lifts or Pops of.

          Now Mount You HDD: 3.5in Use B slots or A and C for 2.5

          Screw inner Lid back on job is done.

              Sorry dont have Sats here to test
              A Good question to ask in their Forum on sensitivity and selectivity,

              Yes the Alignment of some of the ports is a little of, first release/demo

              Now it's now sold under the Vontar brand, looks like a production issue ports works fine.

              Be Nice if it had a Egreat/Himedia/Zidoo display, current display works as is but needs some luv.

                I asked on their forums, they replied that it's like the U4PVR, but that they always test it without satellite tuner worries me !.

                    Have you managed to use any of the PVR funtionality yet?
