Has anybody tried or managed to upgrade their Bing copy of Windows to Pro buy using a purchased key?

So it looks as if you have to a clean install and no ability to update solely with a key.
Perhaps it is due to the key being embedded in the hardware.

You have to reinstall Windows form Pro's ISO and apply the correct license key.
Direct upgrade from Bing version is not available
