    Doesn't the N3450 have IntelĀ® HD Graphics 500, not 400?

        Indeed.

I have been mulling over a move to Apollo Lake myself for few weeks now but haven't bitten the bullet, so wanted to see if this one could be in the frame for purchase.

But I have some observations/questions for Beelink that I hope that they can answer.

There seems to be no mention of this on the Beelink site, so is this a true Beelink product that will come with their direct support?

But in the mean time, going on the basis that it will be:

This M1 looks very similar in many respects to the AP34 and AP42 models. The AP42, at least from Gearbest site states that it is now discontinued and the AP34 out of stock.

Looking at things such as the addition of a VGA port, does this indicate that this new model is a direct replacement for them?

Nice to see the option of a 4Gb and 8Gb available but if somebody chooses the 4Gb, can they upgrade the RAM and if so, is it a case of there being a second memory slot or is a replacement of the 4Gb necessary?

Is the memory installed dual channel?

The Gearbest listing also shows 'DIY SSD' quoting 64Gb, 128Gb and 320Gb.

Does this mean that there may be the possibility of 3 purchasable storage options in the pipeline as I'm sure that whilst the current on-board 64Gb M2 SSD (thumbs up for M2 too if it's performance is far better than MSATA) can be upgraded, people might like the option of having the 128/320Gb options to purchase, without having to replace the existing model that may have no practical use for them elsewhere?

I just want to confirm that the HDMI port is 1.4 because now that we are seeing more Apollo lake boxes with the full 2.0a (albeit linked to an internal DP port) that offer the full 4K experience, it would be nice and perhaps even wise/expected to see this as a standard in all new models with this SOC.

Running on a max of just 12W is impressive and a good selling point for those wishing to get the maximum performance with the greatest energy saving.

The M1 use's the same PCB as the AP34 Ultimate the only difference iv been told is that the M1 has a VGA port

Both the M1 and the AP34 Ultimate come with 64GB emmc with the option of being able to add to that with a M.2 SSD up to 320 GB

The AP34 Ultimate is indeed HDMI 1.4 so I would assume is the M1

Photo of the AP34 Ultimate PCB (Review coming soon,As you can see the PCB shows M1 on the Ap34 Ultimate)

So for what it is, a good little unit great SOHO unit or something to have as a second unit to do the basics.
Video playback Ok Netflix Plex etc, should do most.

Lots of these small units about slowly upping the ante to the next chip all a bit of fun really

Thanks To Gearbest for the opportunity
