    Help cool my Mini PC project!

    Hi all,

    I've got a mini PC (intel z8300 CPU inside) and when playing HEVC 10bit files it gets up to 80deg/192f temperature - but doesn't throttle thankfully. It won't be used to play video all the time, but it'll be on 24/7 as part of my network setup. Therefore I'd like to have the overall temperatures brought down and to prevent it ever getting up to 80deg.

    What would you suggest to cool my Mini PC down?

    Needs more info..
    passive or active cooling / with noise or without? / how much time and money are you willing to spend?
    what do you have laying about that can be used to cool device?
    whats your home temp? Can the unit bemoved outside safely?

    i have one tvbox outside shed with big passive cooler (crunching numbers/ftp backup..encase house burns down)
    i have bunch with big passive coolers
    then one im currently testing has currently a big fan ontop ( low speed/20cm)
    my pc it watercooled/zalman resonator1
    I know a guy how placed a latop in his cooler ( torrent-ing)(remote using vnc)
