Very nice design, I have a question, SATA port will be a full sata? Or usb2sata port?
And why spdif output was removed in all Intel devices?

Beelink has announced three new devices based on Intel Atom Z3735F processor: Pocket P1 slim PC, Pocket P2 HDMI stick, and a mini PC simply called "Mini

Basically, there are two types of SoC's: "Z3735D, Z3735E are in Type 4 Package" and "Z3735F, Z3735G, Z3736F, Z3736G are in Type 3 Package". The former has USB 3.0 native support, but no Gigabit LAN/SATA support. The latter only supports USB 2.0, no LAN/SATA support at all. In either case, LAN/SATA has to come through and hence is limited to the USB interface, making the performance not that ideal as expected.

Thanks, then the SATA device can be useful like storage, but not to run any OS with decent speed. anyway is a nice extra, but forgot to use a ssd if you will use the usb bus speed.

Yes and no, because at "real life" you have more often random read/writes than sequential read/writes... copying large file (and maybe also start up of an OS) will have a negative effect at sata2usb2.0 but a working system I think will be also nice at an SSD because of the good random read/writes rates at a SSD....

From the pics at Gearbest, looks like this box comes with a VESA mount option. Nice touch, if true.

Does this box suffer from overheating like the Pipo boxes do?
