It does look like an attractive piece of hardware, at a reasonable price.

Sadly, won't boot linux ( according to posts ), at least not yet ... thats a no go for some of us.

Somebody reported Arch Linux runs on AP34 on Amazon. Maybe some one here could give it a try on AP42? I have returned mine to Amazon already.

I managed to boot linux on the AP42.

First i Installed rEFInd form here: http://www.rodsbooks.com/refind/

This boot Manager allows you to to boot linux kernel with efi stub. Most modern linux distros have this.

I finally installed opensuse tumbleweed on the emmc. by deleting win10. Everything run great now.

          Bye

I manged to install linux to it.

I installed rEFInd from here: http://www.rodsbooks.com/refind/

this boot manger instead of the original win10 bootmgr enables the boot of linux
            kernels.

Finally i installed opensuse tumbleweed on it. All Hardware is recognized and works.
            Wifi is iwlwifi, bluetooth etc.

hddparm for emmc gives 255.19 MB/sec read performance.

            Bye

Thanks blinkone, but a classic remote controller is easier for me. It can stay near the mini pc and everyone can use it
