Looks like HDMI video capture. In UEFI, you can however take individual screenshots onto a FAT32 flash drive with the F12 key.

Edit: He actually used Elgato Game Capture HD (can be seen in his temp. recording video)

F7 ... I tap it repeatedly but that might be just an old habit or a sign of growing impatience!

And when you post links to my documents all over the Internet at least credit me or put a referral link to an existing post.

Thanks but I will pass spending that on a box just to make a few videos.

              Thanks for the info!

ZIDOO X9 (MSTAR MSO9180D1R) Android TV Box seems to be capable of doing such HDMI video capture recordings. That could be handy, but it could also end up being another useless US $99 device lying around.

                Edit

I just found out that ZIDOO is not willing to support custom ROMs. Finless Bob asked for their cooperation a month ago, but they are not willing to share any code.

The hardware already seems deprecated, since it was announced a year ago, and the total lack of custom ROM support makes this device almost worthless.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING AWAY FROM THIS DEVICE, unless you know what you are doing.
