    Hi @linuxium

    did you get some progress with steamos on meegopad t01?

    i'm testing some things, and i want to try installing steamOS on it, but if is not worth, then i focus on other tests.

    question. i want to flash a Teclast X89 dual boot firmware on the meegopad.
    Do you know if this process may damage the device?
    there are few settings on the flashing tool that i don´t know if i need to change.

    check the guide:
    Teclast X89 Installation Guide Note about this guide This is a translated version of the Installation Guide of Teclast X89 device. ...

    the settings i'm not sure are:
    SOC Devices
    VID=8087
    PID=0A65

    Android devices:
    VID=8087
    PID=09EF

    i'm not sure if this can damage the device and get a full brick. i figure if i did not touch the BIOS, i always get a way to recover the device... but i can´t find any info about this.

    do you know something about this?

      The more people trying to get SteamOS working means the quicker it will happen! Just don't expect instant results.

      I would not recommend flashing another device's BIOS to any current Intel Z3735F based device given it could brick (meaning permanently brick) the device.
