Z64w Hevc stream slow motion issue

Hi all,
I have a Samsung UN70KU6300FXZA and the Z64w has been updated to windows 10 all drivers have been updated with intel utility and no matter what anything 1080 Hevc will onlu play in slow motion. Is it the limitation of the MINIX box or anything else that check? Tried running kodi 17 in software, turnd divx on off etc no change.

Any ideas would be highly appreciated.

It's the Z3735F Bay Trail SOC, which does not support hardware accelerated HEVC.

The capability was added for the next generation of Cherry Trail SOC.

So no work around then or ever will be? That sucks, time to upgrade I guess lol.

Unfortunately no work around, so yes a new box required.

You could go down the Android route, which would be the cheapest option or, if wanting to stick with Intel, you may find a Z8300 box quite cheap.

Or if looking forward and it suits your budget, something like the Apollo lake based Vorke V1 Plus that would pretty much do all that you want today and for quite a while to come yet.
