removing/replacing Android Partition on X7S (without wipe)?
removing/replacing Android Partition on X7S (without wipe)?
Hi guys.
looks like I got an X7S instead of the X7 I ordered (geekbuying).
it says X7 on the Box and on the sticker, but it has that extra micro USB port and Android Partition (no dual boot screen).
I really don't need that Android Partition to take up valuable space so...
is there a way to remove it without wiping the Windows partition and losing data ?
Also, if it's dual booting, and Android is a Linux flavor, can it be easily replaced with Ubuntu or OpenElec ?!
I know it is a possibility, but I am trying to keep the current Windows installation there, with all the stuff I installed on it.
Also, what about loading OpenElec ? or Ubuntu ? does dual-booting Android helps with the UEFI32 only situation that the X7 suffers from ?
