does anybody know - and tried - the purpose of microUSB connector on back side of X7S?
I tried to plug in OTG cable with USB flashdisk, but nothing happened.

I am hoping that its for connecting to the PC while holding the Reset switch in to enter Mode-B, But their is no Firmware PC Programs released for the X7S that can do this, that i am aware of.
I picked up a Ugoos UT3S that does update firmware from a PC via OTG. This was not the primary reason for acquiring the unit, but it makes updating it fairly easy. Your can choose dualboot/Android only/Ubuntu only.
From what I see, the way Pipo uses uEFI prevents this technique from being used. I have not used the OTG for anything on mine.
