After facing typical heat problem with my Voyo I decided to cut off a part of the chassis at the bottom for a 28x28x8mm aluminum heatsink which I have sticked on the ATOM CPU. To do this I have detached the cables from the mainboard and attached them back. Now only green power led lights when the USB power cable is connected, but nothing happens when pressing the power button (The blue light in front does not light up).
What can I do, check? Have I destroyed my Voyo - if so any recommendations for another brand/device with a better heat protection?
I would just recheck that the cables esp the ribbons are seated fully
if you can take a few pictures someone with different eyes may see something you have overlooked.
