In the UK, Sky have had a box out for a year or so now called the Now TV, which is essentially a cut down Roku box without some of the extras such as ethernet and sd card slot.
It seems that so far, nobody has been able to unlock these devices in order to add more functionality such as XMBC and other such services.
The only app that I can see can be sideloaded is Plex.
I wondered if anybody here has ever investigated the Roku to see what can be achieved with modding.
