Kernel 720p and your patch doesn't work (error ) if you select anything but 720p60 in resolution the display area leaves black borders around screen at least in my 63 plasma.Latest kodi 15 works without autoresolution , the glitch in playback is fixed. I am back to m-195 12122014 .I believe that there is no hope for this player except if someone user with knowledge works with the firmware.From what I read zappiti firmware has better interface but is about the same.

Thanks for your effort....can someone test and find how to make subtitles appear with this firmware because although they are listed in the subtitle menu they don't and this time is not that are hidden in the black space of a 2.35:1 movie and can move them in order to see them.Simply they are not displayed.
I had promised myself a few years ago that I will never buy an Apple or realtek product and I broke my promise....
