    Hmmmm... Dell's new thumb drive-sized PC 'Ophelia'

    Looks like we are all ahead of the curve on the new development area for Desktop Applications and TV/Monitor use:

    Dell is going to try to get one of these out into everyone's hands in colleges.

    It is a good Idea i think. Not everbody realy need a PC.
    When you got Linux or ChromOS on this Device it´s a PC for Internet and most Daily work.
    And last it is cheap tho everbody can get one.

      Why did the choose MHL instead of HDMI?

      Is it just me or they (needlessly) change media ports and standards every few years?

        MHL is only a Smaller HDMI Port and it is Standard for now 3 Year's.

        So why not use it?

          It uses MHL because it can be powered from the same port the display is using, instead of having to use a separate USB port. It may be less common now, but by the time Ophelia is available to the general public it may be more useful.
