mx box

hi. just bought an Mx box for my Daughter for her uni dorm.

it had xmbc already on it. ive done the toothpick reset and factory reset it.

im looking for a rom or firmware update to reset again so its just basic with playstore on etc so i can install showbox, cartoon hd and a few others etc.

can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi Scousepug, We will need to know what processor,how much memory,wi-fi chip because the mx box came with a lot of variances.
If the box is open post some good photos of the board.

ive mamaged to sort the firmware but its really laggy. playing showbox 720p and pic looks ok bit its dragging behind and sound is out of sync. any ideas?
