Hardest part I found was getting the HDD Compartment Lid off, the rest was way easier...
Good looking I feel, Foresee eMMC previously not noted for performance hope things have improved.
Sky Hynix Ram, RTL8821 WiFi chip, also we have the RTC Battery and I noticed 2 reset Buttons could be fun exercise.
Good use of the Weight block in Lid as Heatsink with Thermal Pad, you can see the clips around the white border of Ram
and CPU so a tin LID may have been used but i guess not...
Power supply 12v 1.5 amps,

Now to have a look at UI, should be much the same as other RTD device, as far as Benchmarks go I feel


Unit has Root but No SU, upper and Lower task bars Good clean UI with some nice features

To round it off what we have here is a revamped Beelink SEA,
Lake1 Better looking case, Smaller, External Antenna. other bits to be found

The Benchmarks are also close the Sea scores..

While running all tests no Strange or unusual events,
Google Sign in and updates 100%

Unit behaved so far under all test given and I see we have Qodi/kodi installed.

Oh and yes it has a clock, very bright...and found the setting under display.

Good overview, thanks. Does the HDD bay fit a 2.5" drive only or a 3.5" one can be used as well? I couldn't detect unused pins or unpopulated extensions (ie GPIO) in the board pics, did you see anything like that?

Awesome, thanks trebor I'm still trying to find any info about RTD1295 GPIO capabilities (docs, diagrams, pinouts, ...) to be able to convert this unit in a 24/7 file & media server. home automation hunb, etc etc. This SoC seems very capable.
