Does it use the same Firmware as the mk808B?

Does it use the same Firmware as the mk808B?

No. I tried the NEON rom for the MK808b and it was slow with verry slow WiFi. I expect the wifi module in the MK808II is different from the MK808b. I also couldn't install the finless roms on my device. It gave an error during installation in CWM.

do a full dump of your rom (nand) first just in case of emergency and after use finless tool to flash finless mk808b 1.7 rom to give a try. it should work better than cwm.
