never mind, a file appears in my download folder. it just that when i was in the rar file there was nothing showing in it. could be linux that is the issue though. will test out now

Does wifi and bluetooth work with mk808b? Are there any problems with this rom?

There's not much to compare. The 4.4.2 rom is api level 19, very much advanced from the Jelly Bean sources.


It has passthrough audio, immersive mode and is just as overclock friendly as Jelly Bean. All that's missing is fully functioning Kit Kat for MK808/B.


The original source is a Shenzhen factory. Not my work, I would have debloated the rom and rooted.

KingoRoot will root this ROM. I've confirmed root access and root apps work.

Towel root failed. KingoRoot worked; first select unroot, the rom shows rooted by default. Then run again and select ROOT. OP updated with OC kernel and CWM info.
