"no sound" still present

hi folks, had the same problem with a CX803 with working wifi but no sound nor XBMC. Tried stock rom and finless with the same result...

After fiddling around a while I tried following:

1. downloaded handroid's cwm backup (see link below)
2. extracted his kernel.img
3. replaced it with the one in finless 1.7
4. connected device to pc
5. loaded rom flash tool within finless 1.7
6. flash rom

hi guys, although I am new to android TV sticks but "old" to the android phones, I really can't get passed the "no sound" problem for this new Finless 1.7 version.

just for your information I am using this device: http://tinyurl.com/n9qg5e7 .

Although I tested all the solutions about changing the kernel.img , either I got bootloops or no boot at all.
I tested also the following solution from another thread: http://tinyurl.com/okjyx4w
which gave me sound with Finless 1.7 but no Wi-Fi

how are we going to get sound eventually ?

HD movies

Hi, i have this Android stick, with the cool finless 1.7 firmware, but my problem is that the HD movies, even the 720p are not playing good. Best result yet is with MX Player but still not enjoyable. Any ideas? Can I overclock or something (still don't know why its is working only @1200 mhz) ?

VIDEO PLAYING ISSUE

Hi everybody!!

Excellent job indeed!!

Installed this rom on a CX-803 RK 3066 and from the things I tested the only thing was not responding was and is video playing either directly from you tube app or indirectly from the embeded browser.

Also tried other sites with videos with no luck.
Any ideas please??
It is really very frustrating!

I installed the jdfense rom 1.0 from here(freaktab).

As for the rest you are asking I don't really know so check it out.

hi guys Ihave an old tv stick Gembird dongle tv 001 its working very good but ican,nt install cmbc because of android 4.2 so iwant to update the stick to android 4.4.2 or can some body tell me if filnees 1.7 is installable on my tv stick ?thanks alot if somebody can help sorry for my inglish
