MK808B blue power light no display

Argh my box is displaying blue power light but no display to tv through HDMI.
I have tried reflashing erasing nand new rom still nothing on screen
I changed the supplied short HDMI cable recently after suffering flickering issues.
I now have a DeCresent HDMI to Mini HDMI feeding into my MK808B so I can use the cables I already have.
This set up worked fine until last night, when on switching on no display.
I have tried three different HDMI cables feeding into the adapter without success.
Could the adapter be at fault?

Sorted when back to 4.1 Rom all up and running
