Sure, it's in an early stage and not comparable to Android yet, but nice to try!

Does Firefox OS have any advantages to Android on a TV Stick?

Firefox OS looks very similar to Android. It has its own marketplace but with significantly less apps than Google Play. The OS looks nice but the apps/games don't seem to be optimized for big screen. Also, Android apps feel faster than Firefox OS's web apps.

There's an interesting project that runs on top of Firefox OS called Matchstick. It's similar to Google's Chromecast. You can find my MK808B port here.
