    MK808 Board layout

Im thinking of replacing the heatsink on my MK808. Its almost flat and has a thick layer of black paint on it. I was going to cut the case and replace the heatsink with some vram heatsinks I have leftover from a video card mod. I pulled the heatsink off the side with the CPU. There are 3 other hynix memory chips being cooled as well. Anyone know what is what? there are 2 small ones and 1 larger. Im assuming the large one is the internal memory and the 2 smaller ones are the ram?

I was just wanting to know witch ones other than the CPU I should worry about full heatsink coverage the most.

Yea the big one is the NAND, and the little ones are the Memory(RAM)

Thank you! Ill post Pics with what I have done later. I just want to make the cuts in the case look nice and factory-ish if I can.

Also, do you have some pics of your case mod? curious as to how it turned out.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to need this too.

My stick simply boots, but few seconds after the screen just freezes.

One of two thinks i guess, crappy hdmi cable or overheat!
