We bring you here the Custom Rom for the MK802IIIS.

The Rom is based on the Last Firmware from Rikomagic.
This Firmware is not released right now from Rikomagic tho we got the newest one :-)

How to Update:

1.: Bring your Device in Flash Mode. This can be make by Pressing the Reset Button and Connect USB to OTG Port,
wait 3 Sec Release Reset Button.

2.: Install the Driver for the TV Stick, the Drivers are inside the Package

3.: Go to RKDevolop Tool and Start as Admin the RKAndroidTool

4.: The Software should show in the Button "Found RK..."

5.: Uncheck Loader

6.: Press Run

7.: Wait Until Finished

8.: Unconnect USB and Connect to TV HDM

9.: Wait 4 Min for the First Boot

There is no information how to flash this ROM inside the zip, is there any tutorial on how to do that? I tried the mkupdate.bat but there is a reference to an update.img file that is missing inside the "Image" folder.

One question, has this rom support for smsc7500 usb 2.0 gigabit ethernet adaptor, or can you compile an external module for it, please?

Con un módulo de controlador, parece difícil. Pero voy a seguir buscando.

I think that if this rom was based in latest kernel of MK802iiis then the driver is inside but it don't works.
Finless compile a module for it days ago, but neither worked.

I have the linux source drivers from manufacturer, if you think that it can you help with it I can post them.

Ok, lo probaré.

Pero, ahora es tarde para mi. Mañana trataré de cargar la rom y probarlo.
Pienso que si la rom esta basada en el último kernel del MK802iiis entonces el driver esta cargado pero no funciona. Finless compilo un módulo especifico hace algunos dias, pero tampoco funciono.

Tengo los drivers del fabricantes para linux, si piensas que pueden serte utiles, los posteo por aquí,

Right now i get the Kernel Modul for it.
I will send it to you and you can try it.
The only thing you must do put it on your Device, get Terminal Emulator from
Playstore. Then Open it go where you put the File type "su" and then
"insmod modul.ko".

Now check if it works or not and the i will put it to the Kernel.

Thats the same one I gave him before and while it works, it doesnt... It insmod fine but for some reason it still wont work properly. However others said it worked for them fine!!! So I think maybe his router and half/full duplex 100MB stuff is his problem. Others have had no problems.

Hi all.

Thanks again, Neomode. I try, but this module neither works for me.
The symptoms are the same as related in another post of mk808, I load the module ok, but when I connect usb adapter only can see mac address change in ethernet settings. If I put static ip settings I get nice net icon on status bar, but lan isn't works.

Bob, my router its a gigabit one. It works at (good) gigabit speed with other computers in my network. I don't know but I think that network isn't the problem.

I attach source drivers from manufacturer, maybe it will usefull.

Is this Rom better than the imito 1.5?

Ich möchte nicht sagen das mein Rom besser ist als ein anderer.
Sagen kann ich er ist getestet läuft schnell und Stabil.
Bitte selber Testen.

Der Antutu Benchmark Score is 8200.
