Yes procedure is same just point it to version 2.2.0 fw and upgrade

V2.2.2 1080p Screen Scale keeps resetting on reboot (Start Up). Was OK on V2.2.0

will fix this in pach maybe tomorow.
so you will only need to flash boot.img with finless tools.
