It wont work trust me... Yes you need kernel for Sunvel but you also need files from system for the wifi chip and BT. Also different setup in boot.img

If it was that simple I would not have a ROM for Sunvel vs non-Sunvel.

can anyone confirm if the libstagefright libs are different from the one released by rockchip(the ones on fin's 1.7)?

If so i'll update them manualy and test with xbmc hw.

I am not aware of any new libstagefright patch from RK other than what we have been adding to ROMs.
But I do not know everything! Maybe there is a new one?

I haven't posted much on this site just been reading and taking everybody else's advice when playing around with my mk808b.

Ive been playing with many different Roms but will say I've had the best xbmc experience with Lewys newest rom released this morning v2.2.2 running on my mk808b. The only thing I've done was incorporate the advanced settings. I haven't figured out to to put the live streams fix it so if anyone could write a guide on how to do it (can I just use the Es file explorer or do I gotta ssh into the unit?). Again this is the only rom I've played with that exhibits none of the stuttering Hd content in icefilms. Before I could get some videos without stuttering then others would stutter really bad using HW accell. I'm very happy with it so far. Just wanna get the live streams going now. Also I'm using the internal player no external player is being used.

Changing only the libstagefright.so will fix the video corruption issue on Finless 1.7. All other files are identical.

Copy the files as instructed using a file explorer which will allow root access, like this one.

No WiFi After a few minutes

After installing the 720p version of this rom on my mk808 my WiFi stops working after a few minutes. Any idea on what might be going on. I don't have any problems with the connection with any other rom except the oem one. The rom with the best connection so far has been with the Hybryd 720p 2.1.3 rom.
