MK808B 4.2.2 Final Version given by Factory from China

I got some issue with Beta software. After applied, I got wireless connection can’t start. Even tried with Bob FW, I can't recovered. I contacted reseller and he routed me to China factory. After spoken to factory, they gave a firmware which they said final version to reload to MK808B. By using this I can recovered back wireless LAN and now seems to be stable. I am sharing for anyone who needs it…Here is a link to download…I got some built-in games. Hope somebody can study this and give some comments...

Looks legit to me.

If they have fixed a few issues regarding the beta, then this will be a brilliant must have rom for the mk808b's. It may also be the case that if overclock kernels do happen, it may be for 4.2.2 only.

The Epic Citadel benchmark score is already impressive. I am seriously tempted to try XBMC on it, but I dunno if I can put myself through it again

This is much better than previous beta. So far I have not encountered any problems since yesterday.
XBMC is also smooth, no lag while playing movies from my network. Live streaming is also good.
No problem with Bluetooth, WiFi is strong.

Hi Bob,

Thanks for your custom ROM creating based on this. May I request some? Can you integrate Adobe Flash Player built-in and add some wireless drivers? I am not sure in customization but one of the guy from factory said, it can add more HW drivers if you are familar with customization and program ROM. Since I am an end user, I would like to request to you since you are in deep customization.

Thanks for the link, this Rom works very well to be a stock rom. First 4.2 that is very usable.

The good and the bad with these ROMs

Not so good news:

Heavily bloated!
Gameloft patch is needed
No accessibility options
Netflix still does not work, scrambled video...
sdcard writing seems slow
Antutu score = 8000 give or take a few hundred


SUPER BAD news!
The kernel is locked so no over clocking and what's really BAD is it is locked at only 816 Mhz
Not even the 1008mhz all other ROMs have been locked at WHY?
I am guessing to stop complaints of over heating...


Good news is my C310 camera works and Skype works.
