mk808B bricked after too many updates ?

I am getting:
downloadbootfail on upgrade
and
prepare idk fail during the erase process

Its already in MASKROM mode

I think its hard bricked ? NAND faulty perhaps.
I may have to replace - Any device thats a bit newer and better for latest KODI that is as capable and manageable as mk808B ? mk809IV maybe anyone recommend if I can't unbrick it ?

I don't need 4K just a decent stick or box. Box with ethernet would be useful though as I can then ditch the docking station I had to have connected to the mk808, for better energy consumption.
The DroidBox iMXQPro Mini has a good price point and may fit my needs, or would I be better with another RK based model ?

I'd like something that has a popular firmware modding community like the 808 did, what was awesome about 808b was firmware like FInless and those had the VPN firmware included TUN.KO. I would really like something that has that out the box, or a decent firmware can be applied like that.

my UT3 does the same , not possible to flash or SD boot ,

if i press "read IDB" the Offset says from 1-4 , but the shown

Sectors stop after 0-3 .

Ah well it had a very well used life, upgraded ROMs to get the most of it.

I must perhaps be looking for something new just not entirely sure what. I supposed something that is rooted as default could help a lot with aspects like tun.ko

i have nearly the same in my Logs , CS means Clustersector , i think ,

but i think it can be fixed , maybe by USB to UART Connector ??? ,

or flashing a new uboot.img ??? , really dont know .
