I have been trying to flash my early model MK808B V5.0 w/RTL8723 wifi bt chip to KitKat so I can get a little more life out of it, but have been having major issues. Some of which could very well be user error on my part. I'v tried every ROM i can find and even tried flashing different kernels that were supposed to be working but the best I could get were the 2 penguins. If i put the old 4.2.2 ROM back on no problem, flashes and runs like a champ.
The official MK808B roms for KK seem to be for a much newer model and I dont even get the penguins on that one.
Sadly because of the age of this stick many links that directly reference roms for this model are long since dead.
Would anyone have or be able to post a link to a working rom for this unit please.
