Is there a way to flash that dump from rkbatch tool? I haven't installed CWM to this device yet...

I've PM finless asking that.

Anyway, right now, you could flash finless 1.7 replacing at flash time the original recovery to the recovery located inside this rar: http://files.androtab.info/rockchip/.../MK809_CWM.zip

Then when it boots, reboot to recovery with the embedded app.

And finally restore de rom, you should place it inside the microSD.

Second post is supposed to be a dump from the stick, this rom worked better, both had working wifi and usb. I don't know if it would benifit you to download the second, they might be same kernel and drivers...

I think I have that already from previous post here in this thread.

The dump from mega.co.nz I am downloading now. I think that is what people are saying is needed to make a ROM but I am unsure

I am downloading that now. So system will be a tar.gz file?
If so thats more work to convert toa flashable ROM

But so be it... I will look at it when it is done downloading.

I will first make a flashable stock ROM.... then do my 1.7

Thank you all for the answers. At least now I know it's feasible - I only have to be able to do it.


So far, no success. This is what I'm doing:


- I plug the microUSB plug of the USB/microUSB cable into the microUSB socket of the UG802.


- I join the two ED2 pads with the tip of a screwdriver


- Now I plug the USB plug of the USB/microUSB cable into the USB port of the computer, keeping the two ED2 pads joined. Nothing happens.


I'm not sure that the UG802 is being powered properly, as it remains cold even if I keep it connected to the computer. Could I try to connect it to a power source, and to connect it to the computer (with ED2 in short) using the USB socket in the UG802 instead of the microUSB one (with a USB-USB cable)?

Then I shortcut with the screwdriver, and while I shortcutting that pins, I connect. If you use windows, it will sound like a new device connected. At first time it's quite hard to shortcut properly, then you catch the trick ().

What the heck!!

It worked!! (edit: I mean it worked to have the cable connected both the computer and the UG802, and then shortcut. But I've shortcut ED2, not those two pins in the flash).

Well, at least I've heard the computer detecting it, and Windows trying to install it. Now it has disconnected again, but that's a beginning to pursue! Thank you very much, and of course thanks to Finless and Somedood for finding out how to do the reset and everything else.

Now go for the next step, I'll come back

P.S.: by the way, I think I know who you are, are you in the same Spanish forum that I'm thinking?

e3skdou, please with the stock ROM flashed now go into setting and storage and tell me how much space is shows for each area. I need it as I have to recreate the stock parameter file.
