    Kernel runs really fine now.

    Kk is really better than JB. Only what im missing is Wifi Display.
    Any idea what WiFi display needs? I can compile support if you point me at it.

      Which is the proper kernel-KK Rom combination to test on my ΜΚ908ii.

        Jelly bean has its own app called wifi display. Dunno about kk.

        Is this link maybe useful https://github.com/kensuke/How-to-Miracast-on-AOSP/wiki

          IT works AMAZINGLY!!! I was even able to overclock using the overclockomatic script and it has stopped hiccuping on 1080p video.

          Thanks d33, sound, zoom, wifi, bt, and OC all work!

            There are so many makes, models and variants they simply have no meaning to me! Simplest thing to do is flash Bob's latest public Kitkat release (currently for the Tronsmart A928 which has an AP6330 wifi chip) and see if the wifi/BT works. If not iteratively flash the kernels from the OP until you find one that works. From reading the posts on here over time the most popular wifi chipset is the standard AP6210.

              Everything is running great, I've used rkpatchomatic for kk that you released and I have to say this is the best yet. However I did notice that I have no mac address for my ethernet is this a rom issue or kernel issue?

                  Still getting visual artifacts with mk908ii but not with a928. They go away in settings after about 2-3 seconds but I'm still getting the black blocks (right side of picture, sorry for the blury cam) even in rockchip video player. Attached example.

                    Hey d33 using the new HD 2.07 kernel Im not having any sound or hdmi issues on t428. Thanks for the great work on this kernel.

                    d33 do you know if it would ever be possible to pass through hdmi audio for 5.1 off hdmi on t428

                    Thanks again

                      I'm fairly sure this would require a modified ROM as well as kernel support. I too would like pass through but it may be a long way out on kitkat ROMs.

                        i have cx919 from the very first batch so it is using one without T. I tried to install Ap6210v207 kernel and only HD version i am able to boot the stick however it is very unstable it gets abrupt shutdown and i keep getting remove usb storage media. youtube app keep getting refreshed every 5 mins or so. i have also tried clean install still same problem.

                        however i dont have such issue when using bob's KitKat Rom stock kernel.

                        I also tired all other version of kernel with i cant even go to the home it is stuck at boot screen showing MINIX room

                        any idea what could be going wrong.

                          Flash Bob's patch and you are good to go.

                              Hi d33,

                              tried your KK script on the latest m7pro kernel from randy. In cmd their is only 1 ddr freq shown, it's
                              580MHz 1300mV 1 DDR_FREQ_SUSPEND, should I comment out (#) a line from your script?

                              If I should, which is it?
                              "ddr720" =>
                              [
                              [950000, 200001],
                              [1250000, 720256],
                              ],

                              Edit: Commented out the 1st freq ([950000, 200001]), kernel generation worked.

                              Also in your script, what is the advantage of having only 3 high freq (1200-1608-1704) in the cpu table instead of the standard 7 frequencies from 312-1704? I noticed also that you don't have a 1416 freq step.

                              Sorry that i'm not techie enough to understand these things on my own, but I'll really appreciate it if you can help me. Thanks again.

                                It's isn't my script - credit is to PHJAnderson.

                                It was written for TV Sticks/TV Boxes and so you need to add back the lower freqs and voltages if you want to use for a tablet. Only having the higher ones makes it scale faster.
