They are not stock, they are custom build.

I think we are seeing why the DDR and GPU were crippled in stock kernels.

I know they are custom build. I meant the kernel with stock cpu, gpu and memory clocks.

D33 mate, we need a fix. And i said it twice, this picture http://www.freaktab.com/attachment.p...0&d=1367249865 shows the google tv in the middle of the screen 720p SD kernel as it should be.
But in ur SD kernel the google tv is much smaller and in the left upper corner of the tv. For example like this

1. Probably due to DDR limits being removed for those CPUs that are marked as PLL defective. (The 445 MHz limit)

2. I think that bit is done by boot.img. I compile the image in but it is controlled by boot process.

Version 3 does not have stock DDR or GPU. The t-version does have stock CPu (1.4 GHz)

Stock values are 1.4, 445 RAM 450 GPU.

If you want to see if it is another factor in the v3 build you can underclock the 3.0 kernel to 1.4, 445 RAM 450 GPU. If you still have problems then it is something else I've done.

[edit - actually that won't do it as they will still be PLL clocked not GLL]

I've amended the naming on the OP to "alt" instead of J22. There are two common ways of wiring in an AP6210, most use one way, some use the second way. The first device that used the less common way was called "J22" so I simply called the kernel that. I won't in future.

If you have a TV stick use 3.0, if you have a TV Box use 3.1

No - it has VMac as we established. I've messaged Wasser asking for help compiling VMac into KK.

Wasser has responded. Looks quite complicated, especially when I don't have the device. Will have a play tonight or tomorrow night.

Thanks to Wasser for a quick reply. Very much appreciated!

i made this fix for my 0.92 kikat wasser firmware long ago. rk29-vmac (old/new revision) work fine with the fix . If you have k-r42 models you can try my firmware.

Hi D33,

after the 4 penguins, i've got no tv signal if i use your rtl8818 kernels ( sd/hd )
but if i use the Yersu's kernel, it works ( tv signal + wifi )

Can you take a look at it ? a 1080p one will be appreciated

I've had a quick scan and I can see an interesting switch. The newer model can no longer use the PLL control method. THis is almost certainly due to using 'T' chips which are PLL unstable.

Hi D33 ,

is there any other difference between T and non-T kernels except the frequencies?
The T-kernel works just fine at 1800/798/720, the non-T crashes during boot when still at splash screen.
So I'm wondering why.

Thank you in advance.

Best regards
