Prepare IDB fail, Q7, Can't install firmwares

    Hello guys,

I have some problems with my android tv player.
    It's a Q7 with codename XT-Q7V-V10

I bought this box and i had some tried some firmwares, but i think i installed a wrong firmware. Now i found a good firmware on this page:

I tried to install the Full Flash - K-R42 Hybrid Firmware (HFW) 3.2 by lewy20041 Firmware
and i tried more firmwares, but i got the next error that is shown on the picture

Now is my question, is my Box now ready for the garbage or can i repair it?

I have the same PCB ... XT-Q7V-V10 ... and I've tried many firmwares, and I haven't had luck with most of them.

But the good news is, you should be able to resurrect your box, you just need the right firmware. Here's the stock firmware, which will work on your unit: https://www.dropbox.com/s/tytthjd7f1....10-1.zip?dl=0

What I recommend is that you first Erase the IDB using either RKAndroid Tool 1.37 or Finless ROM Flash Tool 1.37 .

Then Flash the above ROM using RKBatchTool 1.7 , and it should go through without errors, and your Android box will automatically reboot back into the stock firmware.

Let me know how you get on. Also, there's more discussion about this Q7V box here: http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.php?18107-Q7-bricked

I'm glad to hear that you were able to unbrick your unit.

Was the HDMI issue there when you first got the box, or only now that you have re-flashed it?

Have you tried using another HDMI cable? I also had issues with mine until I tried a different cable. Obviously you'll need a MicroHDMI cable such as this..

.. or if you want an adaptor to use with an existing standard HDMI cable ..

But if you order from a local **** seller, you should get it quicker than the ones in the above links.

                  Hello,
If possible could you please help me by giving a step by step description of how you managed to unbrick your Q7?
Do you still have the firmware and tools used? The second link for the firmware no longer works either,,,
I would greatly appreciate any help you can provide,
                  Thank you.
