Need help for flashing ZERO Devices Z4C Quattro (RK3188) - choppy video

    Dear All,
i got this device recently :

ZERO Devices Z4C Quattro Mini Android PC Quad Core - RockChip SOC Powered
    • Android 4.2 - RK3188 Cortex-A9 Quad Core CPU
    • Mali-400 Quad Core Graphic Processor Unit
    • 2GB DDR3 - 8GB Nand Flash
    • Wireless 802.11b/g/n - Bluetooth 4.0 (Broadcom solution)
    • 1 x USB 2.0 + 2 x Mini USB Ports
    • HDMI Port - Micro SD bay (up to 32Gb)
    • Supports external HDD
    • 8 x 3 x 1.4cm

Works great and is very fast but video play is very choppy to an extent it is almost useless.
i have tried the latest version of the stock rom uploaded on www.zero-devices.com but it's still not good.

Any advice on flashing it with a custom rom which may improve the video quality?

    Thanks,
    Stefan

This is how the PCB looks like (if it helps identifying the correct rom )

and it has the following chips

    Rockchip (CPU)
    RK3188-T
    SBAU32PX 1345

FORESEE ( this should be the 8gb flash)
    NCTSTS76-08G
    01V1305091737
    1319

    iTE (hdmi chip)
    IT66121FN
    1339-BXG
    ECA0NB

    AP6210 ( i guess wifi chip)
    C0DB123
    1347

    4x ( 2GB RAM)
    GEIL
    CG1L512M88BA12LH
    512X8DDR3 HL
    1342

under the sticker there is written:
    MK908 V5.0
    2013.09.18
    Netxeon

PS: Seems that i have broken it somehow while removing the heatsink and it doesn't want to start any more, shame it was a nice stick
