Hello all,

We got a new Quad Core TV Stick his Name is Podoor T518.
W2Comp has send me a Sample to Test it and make a Custom Rom for it.


It is a nice little Device, with an External Antenna for better Wifi.

The T518 has a nice Housing with a Red Antenna for Wifi.
Also you find one Normal USB Port, 1 OTG Port and 1 DC Port for Power Supply.
Included you find in the Case an OTG Adapter a short HDMI Cable and a Micro-USB-Cable.
It comes with Android 4.2.2 and Rockchip SDK 1.
The Mali GPU has 500Mhz I will be checking it.
The Antutu Score is 16300 Points.
CPU: 8000 GPU:6000 RAM:2800.
It comes with 2 GB of Working Ram and 8GB Storage Space.
1 GB is for Apps and 5 GB for your Data.
The Kernel is per default a 720p Kernel FullHD is Upscaling right now.
Right now i can say it is a good Device, i will testing it in the next Day´s and Report back.

The WiFi reception is awesome. The stock ROM very poor.

Any suggestions, is there any ROM available yet?

Would be great. StockRom sucks. Can't even play 720p mkv. The video just doesn't start at all - with non of known players....

I have upped to latest custom rom from w2comp on my t518 but are having problems that the whole screen are not used in 720p. Seems like it has shifted to lower left corner... Any ideas?

Hi Neomode,

i bought this stick and use your custom rom (w2comp).
the 720p resolution does not fill the screen, there remains free surfaces on the top and the right.
the 1040p resolution never works also the lowest resolution..

What can i do ?
