I already made a mistake buying an RikoMagic so I'd like to avoid the same. Seems like it is going to be between Tronsmart CX-919 vs MK908II.

Which is better? I can't tell the difference on **** or Amazom.

What is a good source? Is the fact that it will be branded a guarantee that it is genuine?

They are the same board inside just different case. I like the mk908ll because its case has better cooling more vents. Been running mine non-stop for a good 8 months now also flashed at least 50 times still going strong. Lots of custom roms and geekbuying selling for $49.99 right now.

I'm not crazy about Rom but it is much better than the Rikomagic

What do you find 'wrong' out of curiosity.

I'm debating the same, including which version of XBMC to use.

I only need 720p - i hope that is ok with this firmware - prefer snappy vs 1080p as my tv is only 720p
