Finally an XBMC with internal hardware acceleration

Hi guys !
After a week playing with my T428 and being disappointed with the overall performance (using the stock rom) I decided to try the Hybrid firmware (v2.0.3).
The Hybrid firmware works perfect, everything is running smooth and no more "Force Close" messages pops up. I tried several xbmc for android, some of them were using external players such as mx player but all of them had their faults which ruined the main purpose of the dongle which is media center.
I finally found a perfect build of XBMC which includes built-in hardware acceleration and plays streams without any problems. I tested it with 720p movies and it works perfect (haven't tried 1080).

So in case you haven't tried it yet, go ahead and install the xbmc 13 for android.
I know it's still an alpha version which probably have unknown bugs, but for me it works great out of the box

Yes, actually i installed it a few hours ago, is works just fine.
It even solved a bug i was having in the Navi-X
No need for external player anymore

1080p videos play ok with Alpha8 provided that you have h/w accelerated decoding (libstagefright) support enabled (it is by default) and you have whitelisted the hd codecs in advancedsettings.xml.

works as much as xbmc ever does (only ever worked great on the origional xbox, even on PC the picture quality is rubbish on xbmc) on my MK908V3 so I guess will work on your 908II
